Police officers in Telford are investigating following a burglary in Leegomery.

Electrical equipment stolen during Leegomery burglary

The incident occurred at an address on Carmarthen Green sometime between 4.30pm on Saturday 17 September and 5pm on Sunday 18 September.

Sometime during the time period in question it appears that thieves climbed over a 6ft wooden fence to enter the rear garden at the property and then approached the house. They then used a large lump of concrete to smash a lounge window at the rear and entered the house through this window.

Once inside the house it appear the thieves carried out a thorough search of the entire property. They then stole a large number of items from inside the house before making their escape with them.

The items stolen in this burglary include two Samsung televisions - one a 21inch and the other a 40 inch, a Hewlett Packard laptop computer, a Microsoft Xbox 360, a Microsoft Xbox Kinnect, a Fuji digital camera, a Nintendo DS and an Apple iPhone 3GS mobile phone.

The total value of the property stolen is thought to be more than £2500.

Anyone who believes they may have information about this burglary, or who may know where any of the stolen property can now be found, is asked to call police in Telford on 0300 333 3000.

Alternatively, please remember that information can also be left anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
