Little Wenlock to have Parish Council election
A parish council election is to take place for a seat in Little Wenlock on Thursday 20 October. The by-election follows the resignation from the council of former councillor Pat Hutchings.
There are two candidates contesting the vacancy: Steve Holding and Jacqui Seymour.
Poll cards are being issued to all electors, and anyone who requires a postal vote for the election has until 5 October to apply.
Returning officer Jonathan Eatough said: “Parish council elections like this can often attract very high turn-outs, and I hope that as many voters as possible will make sure that they take part in this election.”
