Telford police investigate street robbery in Arleston
Police in Telford are investigating following a street robbery on Limekiln Lane in Arleston during the early hours of yesterday morning.

A 31-year-old man was walking home at 12.50am from a night out in Wellington when he became aware of two men and a woman walking towards him.
One of the men asked the victim the time so the victim pulled out his mobile phone and told him. The victim then continued on his way but the man started asking him further questions.
A police spokesman said:
"Although the victim answered a couple more questions he continued to walk away from the three people he had encountered. However, without warning he was suddenly struck in the side of the face and this caused him to fall to the floor.
"Once on the floor the victim was kicked and punched repeatedly before he then became aware that a man was going through his pockets. The man quickly removed a mobile phone, a wallet and a set of house keys from the victim's pockets before leaving the victim on the floor and making off towards Arleston.
"The stolen phone is described as being an Apple iPhone, while the wallet is thought to have contained a number of personal documents and around £10 in cash.
"The two men that the victim believes attacked him are described as being in their mid 20s and as wearing hooded tops and baseball caps. One of the men is described as being white and the other as being black.
"As a result of this robbery the victim suffered bruises to his ribs, a small cut below his right eye and grazes and bruises to the side and back of his head.”
