Sentimental ring stolen during Telford burglary
Police have today issued a photograph of a ring that was stolen during a house burglary in Telford.

The ring, which is of sentimental value, was stolen following a burglary at a home in Far Vallens in Hadley in August.
Thieves forced their way into the property by smashing a window and carried out a thorough search of the address. Around £3,000 worth of property was stolen.
Following enquiries, a number of items have been recovered, but some property, including the ring, are outstanding.
Police are hoping that somebody might recognise the ring and come forward with information.
Detective Constable Ian Benjamin said: "The burglary happened while the homeowners - an elderly couple - were away.
"A neighbour discovered the break-in and reported the matter to police.
"The couple were devastated, especially because a few items of sentimental value were stolen.
"Although we have managed to recover some items, a few remain outstanding.
"One particular item was a man's gold ring. It belonged to the victim's grandfather and although relatively worthless to anyone else, it is of great sentimental value to the owner.
"Other items we are still trying to trace include a blue Packard Bell laptop and charger, a silver LG portable DVD player and charger, a Panasonic AV aerial adapter and a blood pressure tester.
"If any members of the public were approached at the end of August by persons selling such items then it is crucial that they contact me.
"In the current economic climate people may be tempted to buy items offered "cheaply" for sale. However, I would remind people that two elderly people have had items stolen from them that that mean a lot to them and have worked so hard for. So if you do have any information, please do the right thing and get in touch."
The burglary took place some time between midnight on Friday 5 August and 11am on Saturday 20 August.
A man and a woman have been arrested in connection with the break-in. They have been interviewed by officers and bailed pending further enquiries.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Telford Police on 0300 333 3000 or the anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555111.
