Traffic chaos as runaway bull closes Shrewsbury road
Motorists were caught in traffic queues around Shrewsbury this afternoon after three bulls escaped a field and ran loose close to Meole Brace Retail Park.
Traffic was brought to a standstill on the A5 around the south of the town following the closure of the A5112 Hereford Road between the Dobbies Island & the Meole Brace Island whilst the bulls were captured.
The bulls became loose around 2.30pm, two were caught shortly afterwards, the third enjoyed his freedom for a longer period.
