Police investigate overnight break-ins in Whitchurch and Shawbury
Police in north Shropshire are investigating two burglaries where windows were removed to gain entry.

The break-ins happened during the early hours of today at Whitchurch and Shawbury. Police are investigating the possibility they are linked.
At Whitchurch, a house in Smallbrook Road was broken into between 1am and 7am when wooden beading was removed from around a downstairs window and the glass lifted out.
Having searched several rooms, the burglar made off with a wallet containing about £70, bank cards and a driving licence.
The Shawbury breakin was at the River Meadows Nursing Home between 3.40am and 6.45am. Entry was again made by removing a window and an office searched. It's not thought anything was stolen.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "We are appealing to anyone who was up and about at these two locations during the early hours, to contact Whitchurch or Shrewsbury police stations if they saw anything suspicious."
The number to call is 0300 333 3000. Information can also be given to the anonymous Crimestoppers number, 0800 555 111.
