Telford's A442 set for resurfacing work
Part of the A442 is to close overnight for two nights from this evening in order for essential resurfacing work to take place.

Overnight closures will be in place on the southbound carriageway between Hollinswood Interchange and Stirchley Interchange.
Each night the closure will begin at 7pm, reopening the following morning at 6am.
During the closure southbound traffic can take an alternative route using Hollinsgate, Grange Central, St Quentin Gate and Stirchley Avenue. Northbound traffic will not be affected by the closure.
Cllr Shaun Davies, Cabinet Member for Environment, Co-operative Council & Partnership, said: “Our commitment to the improvement of the road network continues with the resurfacing of part of the A442.
“The overnight closures will ensure that disruption is minimal while the work is being carried out.”
Diversion signage will be in place during the works and the diversion routes will also be made available on the Telford & Wrekin Council website www.telford.gov.uk/highwayschemes
