Man robbed of cash and medicine whilst walking in Hadley
Police officers are investigating after a 57-year-old man was robbed of £500 close to the High Street in Hadley last night.

The man was making his way home from Hadley District Social Club Sometime between 7.30pm and 8.10pm when he past a group of 4 or 5 men in Church Street near the Methodist Church.
The victim moved onto a grass verge to pass the men but suddenly he found himself pushed to the ground from behind.
Once he was on the ground he was kicked repeatedly to the body and head by members of the group he had previously past on Church Street. Then, while the victim remained on the ground, one of the men reached inside his jacket and removed £500 in cash from his pocket.
A police spokesman said:
"In addition to the cash, one of the men also took two medicine wallets from the victim. This medicine inside the wallets is used by the victim to treat his diabetes and having it stolen could have had a significant impact on his health.
"Having stolen the cash and the medicine the group of men - who are described as being white and as wearing dark coloured hooded tops - made off on foot and the victim then managed to alert a member of the public about this incident and call the police.
"As a result of this incident the victim suffered bruising and swelling to his right eye, a bloody nose, a large cut to his top lip and bruising and swelling to his chest and rib cage. The victim did attend the Princess Royal Hospital as a precaution but was discharged after being seen by medical staff.
