Police in Shropshire seek owners of recovered antiques
Police have recovered a hoard of antique property believed to have been stolen from Shropshire homes.

The hoard includes silverware, jewellery and a variety of unusual items they believe will be of considerable sentimental value.
Officers are now anxious to trace the owners and have issued a description of the main items with an appeal for people to make contact if they recognise the property.
Detective Sergeant Chris Hughes, from the burglary unit at Shrewsbury police station, said: "We arrested a man yesterday who was trying to sell one of the items at a shop in Shrewsbury town centre.
"He was taken into custody at Shrewsbury police station on suspicion of burglary. We carried out a search of his home address and recovered various antique property which we suspect is stolen.
"Some of the items are quite valuable and I imagine would be of considerable sentimental value. I am hoping their rightful owners will come forward.
"They could have been stolen in burglaries anywhere in Shropshire, but most likely from the Shrewsbury area and in recent weeks."
The recovered items are a short Indian sword with an animal head on the brass handle, a gold coloured horn-shaped piece of jewellery with an attached pin, an old brown leather suitcase containing a collection of 78rpm records, a black case containing an antique projector, a set of six silver butter knives in a case, a silver antique egg cup on a fixed base, a gent's long stemmed shoe horn with leather skin on the handle and a small wooden shield trophy with a sailing boat emblem in the centre.
