Appeal for Community First Responders in Ellesmere
Oswestry and District Community First Responder group could almost double in size next year following a successful recent recruitment, but still more volunteers are needed.

Already 12-strong, a further ten people have volunteered and will be trained by West Midlands Ambulance Service in the New Year.
The group has also recently bought two cars; formerly used as Rapid Response Vehicles by West Midlands Ambulance Service.
Scheme co-ordinator Nigel Keighley said: "We are still looking for more volunteers especially as we now have two cars and, with a bit of luck, a third car for the Ellesmere area as well and that’s where we really need some people to be pulled in. So any volunteers there, please get in touch.”
