Weather warning for Shropshire issued by the Met Office
Heavy rain accompanied by strong winds will hit Shropshire from this evening and is expected to last for most of the week.

The Met Office today said one of the stormiest periods the UK has seen for several years is set to continue this week with heavy rain, strong winds and snow for parts of the country.
An Atlantic storm passing over the UK later today will bring wet and windy weather to the whole country, with Shropshire seeing heavy rain and strong winds.
Tomorrow, heavy showers are expected to fall as snow over the south Shropshire and Welsh hills, and at times to low levels too. Accumulations of 10 cm or more are possible on hills, and there may be some slushy accumulations at low levels.
Wednesday looks bright and breezy for most places, but early indications are that there is a potential for another storm system with strong winds and rain later on Thursday and into Friday.
Tim Hewson, Chief Forecaster at the Met Office, said: "There is some uncertainty in the forecast for later in the week, but there is potential for a significant storm and we are keeping a close eye on the situation as it develops.
"We'll be regularly updating our forecasts and warnings, so we advise everyone to stay up to date with the latest situation."
