Man charged with burglary at Whitchurch Co-op
A 28-year-old man has been charged with burglary of the Co-op Stores in Whitchurch and stealing £59,000.

The man, who comes from Liverpool was arrested at Runcorn police station in October on suspicion of burglary at the store during the early hours of September 14.
He has been bailed to appear before Shrewsbury magistrates court on January 12.
During the burglary offenders used a vehicle to ram the outer shutter of the Co-op, breaking into the store before making off with the cash machine.
Police say at least two vehicles and four men were involved in the incident. A Toyota 4×4 vehicle was used to ram the outer shutter before the offenders smashed the glass and put a large strap around the ATM machine and pulled it out of the store. The cash machine was loaded on to a red car before driving off towards Wrexham with the Toyota.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said today: "I can confirm that a man has been charged with entering the Co-op Stores on September 14 as a trespasser and stealing £59,000 in cash."
