Woman injured as car collides with tree on Shropshire border
A woman has been airlifted to hospital after her car collided with a tree on the Shropshire/Staffordshire border this morning.

The collision happened on the B5415 between Woore and Loggerheads, shortly after 8.40am.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “The driver of the car, a woman in her fifties, was trapped in her vehicle after it collided with a tree.
The patient was released from the vehicle and was treated for back pain. She was immobilised with the use of a spinal board and neck collar before being airlifted to University Hospital North Staffordshire for further assessment and treatment.”
An ambulance, a Community First Responder and the Midlands Air Ambulance based at Cosford attended the scene.
