Council launches Shrewsbury Vision Regeneration Framework

The event will give investors, developers and associated professionals invited to the launch, the first opportunity to view the newly-launched framework and highlight the new and exciting future development in the town.

The Shrewsbury Vision Regeneration Framework will provide the blueprint for dynamic and sustainable change in the landscape and fortunes of Shrewsbury.

Lead panning adviser, Gary Halman, will be highlighting the unique opportunity Shrewsbury is offering vs. the national climate and why and how Shrewsbury is interesting place for developers.

Councillor Mike Owen, Cabinet member for economic growth and prosperity, said:

“Following an intense period of consultation and planning with all stakeholders, Shropshire Council is very proud to announce the launch of the Shrewsbury Vision Regeneration Framework which establishes a clear and inspiring strategy up to 2026 that will prepare the town for sustainable growth.

“We hope this event will give developers the incentive to visit the town and see the opportunities for themselves and ultimately encourage long-term investment in one of Shropshire’s leading market towns.”

Councillor Malcolm Price, Cabinet member for planning, added:

“Everyone who has been involved in the development of the Shrewsbury Vision Regeneration Framework is committed and shares genuine passion and enthusiasm for this town.”
