Shrewsbury residents asked for favourite hidden place
What is your favourite hidden place in Shrewsbury? That’s the question being asked by Shrewsbury Town Centre Residents Association.
The group is looking for the ‘hidden gems’ in order to share them with locals and visitors to the town.
Co-chair Sheila Sager explains: “Shrewsbury is full of fascinating objects, architecture and views. We are looking for volunteers, both old and young, to share their favourite secrets on camera, we will then promote these as some of Shrewsbury’s unique experiences.”
The videos will be embedded into the new online Shrewsbury map for tourists and local alike, which is considered to be cutting edge in tourism strategy.
