New caravan show to be held in Shrewsbury
A new caravan show is to be held in Shrewsbury following the cancellation of the National Boat, Caravan and Outdoor Show, which is held at the NEC in Birmingham.
Caravanners and first time buyers who normally attend the show will now be able to see a huge selection of caravan holiday homes, luxury lodges and new and pre-owned touring caravans and motorhomes at Salop Leisure’s impressive sale centre and holiday home village in Shrewsbury.
Salop Leisure’s Early Spring Caravan Show will be held from Saturday, February 18 to Sunday, February 26 to showcase latest 2012 launches from leading manufacturers.
“We know that thousands of people will be disappointed that the National Boat, Caravan and Outdoor Show has been cancelled this year because they look forward to seeing the latest models and industry innovations,” said Salop Leisure’s chairman Tony Bywater.
“That’s why we have arranged the Spring Caravan Show, which is free to attend and is within easy reach of Birmingham. We will have an even greater selection of caravans and motorhomes on offer at our sales centre, which has good access from the M6 and M54 motorway network, as its located alongside Shrewsbury bypass at the entrance to the town with plenty of free parking space.”
The show will include more than 200 new and pre-owned touring caravans from Swift, Sterling and Sprite. There will also be 60 caravan holiday homes on display from ABI, Atlas, BK Bluebird, Carnaby, Swift and Willerby with savings of up to £3,000 on 2011 models.
An exclusive new caravan holiday home will also be launched at the show to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
Designed as a family day out, the show will be packed with things to see and do, including Salop Leisure’s own interactive park finder service, which features more than 200 holiday home and touring caravan parks in the Heart of England, inland Mid Wales and along the Cambrian Coast. A team of experts will be on hand to offer essential advice and comprehensive information about caravan, lodge and motorhome ownership, finance packages and insurance.
