Thieves take catalytic converters from vehicles in Telford
Police are urging motorists to be vigilant after a number of catalytic converters were stolen from vehicles in Telford.

A total of 15 catalytic converters have been stolen from cars and vans across the borough during the last month.
Thefts have taken place in St Georges. Snedshill, Dawley and Malinslee, with the two latest taking place in Telford Town
Centre and Snedshill Way.
Some time between 6.30pm on Saturday and 2.30pm on Sunday thieves attacked a white box van in Snedshill Way and made off with its catalytic converter.
Then some time between 4.30pm and 7.30pm yesterday, a Citroen car was targeted while parked in Telford Town centre.
Crime Risk Advisor Steve Loveridge warned motorists to be vigilant and to report any suspicious activity to police.
He said: "We have had a number of reports of catalytic converters being stolen from vehicles during the last month.
"It would appear that thieves are stealing them for the valuable metal.
"These incidents have caused unnecessary hassle and expense to the owners of the attacked vehicles. Replacing the parts can cost around £500.
"We would advise motorists to be vigilant and to park their vehicles, if possible, in a garage or to leave it on a driveway or in a visible well lit area. Catalytic converters can be forensically marked and if people are able to do this, we would urge them to do so.
"We would also encourage people who see unfamiliar individuals ‘working' on vehicles in their neighbourhood to give us a call."
