Vandal damages cars at Shrewsbury motor dealership

The seven cars at Rybrook MINI Shrewsbury in Featherbed Lane, were vandalised by a man who ran over their bonnets while parked on the garage forecourt.

Their bonnets were dented and scratched and the windscreen of one vehicle was smashed after being kicked by the offender.

Police say the incident happened between 11.50pm on Wednesday and 12.10am yesterday. They are appealing for information which may help to identify the offender.

A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "The culprit jumped onto one vehicle and then ran across the row of parked cars on the forecourt causing considerable damage.

"We are anxious to receive any help concerning the identity of this person. Contact Shrewsbury police station on the 101 non-emergency number, or the anonymous Crimestoppers independent charity on 0800 555 111."

The offender is described as a white male, of slim build wearing a green/brown hooded top, dark bottoms with blue and white Adidas Samba trainers.
