Investigation launched following death in Morda
An investigation has been launched after a man’s body was found at Morda near Oswestry.
The body was discovered at around 11.30am today on Kingfisher Way in the village. Police are investigating the death which is being treated as unexplained with no details of name, age or cause of death released.
The body of a man was discovered a by a local resident who called the emergency services after the discovery in a field at the back of a Morda social club, near Oswestry.
Paramedics confirmed the man was dead on arrival and police then started their investigations.
The coroner for Mid and North Shropshire, John Ellery, has been informed and a post mortem is due to be carried out.
