Police make fresh appeal over Shrewsbury sexual assault
Police today made a fresh appeal for witnesses as they continue to investigate a serious sexual assault on a young woman while walking home during the early hours of Saturday.

The woman, in her twenties, was attacked by a man between 2.10am and 2.40am near the junction of the Abbey Loop road and Holywell Street, opposite the offices of Terry Jones Solicitors.
She was left distressed but was not seriously hurt.
Detective Inspector Mick Homden said today: "Following yesterday's witness appeal, several people have come forward to assist the investigation. However, the area was busy at the time and I urge anyone in the vicinity at the time who might have seen the victim or the attacker, to contact the police.
"We know that at least one group of people - three males and a female - stopped to help the distressed victim. There were also other people walking along the road having left bars and nightclubs, including a group of two men and a woman carrying four or five helium balloons, who were near to where the assault took place.
"We need all these people to contact Shrewsbury CID as a matter of urgency by calling the 101 non-emergency number."
The attacker is believed to be dark skinned or of mixed-race, in his 30s or 40s with dark spiky hair and a goatee-style beard.
He ran off in the direction of Holywell Street after the assault.
Information can also be given to the anonymous independent Crimestoppers charity by calling 0800 555 111.
