Two arrested as police carry out drugs warrant in Telford
A man and a woman were arrested early yesterday morning after officers from the North Telford Local Policing Team executed a drugs warrant in Leegomery.

Police officers based at Donnington Police Station executed the warrant at an address on Chockleys Meadow at just after 8.30am on Wednesday 29 February.
On entering the address officers discovered Class B and Class C drugs inside and a 26-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman were immediately arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply.
Having made the arrests, a thorough search of the property was carried out and a number of items were seized to be examined in more detail by investigating officers.
The two people arrested were questioned by officers at Wellington Police Station yesterday afternoon and have now been bailed pending further enquiries.
Speaking about this operation, PC Dan Harris, Local Policing Officer for Hadley and Leegomery, said:
"As a result of intelligence and information received from members of the public, a search warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act was executed at this address in Leegomery.
"Two people were arrested at the address and although they have now been bailed pending further enquiries, I hope this sends out a clear message that we will continue to pursue those involved in the possession and supply of drugs.
"West Mercia Police take drug crime very seriously and act on any information received from members of the public and this is actually the third warrant of this type we have executed since the turn of the year.
"Anyone who has any concerns regarding drug crimes can either call us direct on 0300 333 3000, or they can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
"We recognise that some people do not want to get involved or to give their name, so Crimestoppers provides the means for anyone to pass information about suspicious activity or crime with a guarantee of anonymity.
"It is important that people call us with information, because it is ultimately the help of the public that enables us to carry out operations and make arrests, therefore helping us to disrupt, prevent and detect crime."
