Local MPs meet Shropshire Police Chief
Shropshire's three Conservative MPs visited Shrewsbury police station today to meet the county's police chief, Superintendent James Tozer.

It was their first opportunity to visit Monkmoor police headquarters since Superintendent Tozer took over as Shropshire Commander nearly three months ago.
Owen Paterson, MP for North Shropshire and Secretary of State for Northern Ireland together with Ludlow MP Philip Dunne and Daniel Kawczynski, MP for Shrewsbury & Atcham, spent an hour discussing various policing matters.
Superintendent Tozer said: "It was an excellent opportunity to bring all three MPs up to date with current developments.
"I was able to explain our policing structure, talk about various initiatives to tackle crime and disorder throughout Shropshire and the importance of working with our partners, especially the general public.
"Levels of crime in the county continue to fall in most categories and that is a trend we are all working hard to maintain."
Superintendent Tozer added: "Our priority is to further reduce incidents of crime and anti-social behaviour while arresting and dealing robustly with offenders. To this end, our MPs continue to be fully supportive. It was a very positive meeting."
