Stolen car used in attempted Market Drayton ram raid
A stolen car used in an attempted ram raid on a Market Drayton convenience store early today is being sought by police.

Thieves reversed the Mitsubishi Shogun into the front of the Nisa Local store in Dalelands West just after 5am today.
It smashed into the roller shutters twice causing considerable damage before the offenders drove off empty-handed.
Police Constable Clare Stretton said the red and beige Shogun - registration X127GAW - was stolen a few hours earlier from a home in Oldfields, Market Drayton.
The house was broken into and the ignition keys taken. A second car was damaged as the thieves drove off.
"We are anxious to trace this vehicle and the people who stole it and we are appealing for any information which might help our investigation," said PC Stretton.
It's believed two men were in the vehicle which drove off towards the Dalelands West mini island.
Police also think the same offenders may be responsible for several other burglaries in the area. Thieves entered a farmyard in Longslow overnight, searched outbuildings and stole a heavy duty Manitou forklift truck battery and an electric fence battery.
Outbuildings were also searched at a farm in Styche where seven heavy duty batteries were taken.
PC Stretton added: "People living in the rural area around Longslow and Spoonley, especially farm properties, need to be aware these offences have taken place. We want people to be vigilant, tighten up on security and to report anything suspicious to Market Drayton police station on the 101 non-emergency number."
