Shrewsbury, Riverside Meadow plans revealed

David Wilson Homes is set to open the doors to its latest development in Shrewsbury this weekend.

Resting on the edge of the River Severn, at the former Gay Meadow football ground site, construction of Riverside Meadow has begun with the development of 179 new homes. Homebuyers will be able to move into their new homes by March 2013, with the whole site completely developed by early 2016.

The development will offer 117 one and two-bedroom apartments and 62 three-bedroom townhouses with stunning views and landscaped gardens with each property enjoying either a balcony or terrace.

David Wilson, Sales Director for David Wilson Homes, Mercia said “We’re delighted to announce our big opening of Riverside Meadow this weekend, this is going to be a flagship development for us.”

David continues, “Riverside Meadow is in the heart of historic Shrewsbury, combining the convenience of town life with the tranquillity of a waterside location. It is also near to the Welsh Borders, with rolling countryside just a stone’s throw away.

“We are excited about our launch weekend and look forward to telling our visitors about the exciting new development.”

Angela Nurse - Sales Advisor - Riverside Meadow

The open day will take place this weekend Saturday and Sunday 24 and 25 March between 12pm – 4pm at the old Gay Meadow Site in Abbey Foregate.
