Burglars target hairdressers in Dawley
Police in Telford are investigating a burglary at a hairdressing business on Dawley High Street sometime between 4.30pm on Saturday and 11am on Sunday.
Sometime overnight thieves broke into the premises by climbing onto a flat roof at the rear of the building and then forcing open a double glazed window.
Once inside the premises it appears the thieves carried out a thorough search and then stole a Casio till from inside before making their escape with it.
It is thought the till contained approximately £300 in cash.
In addition to the cash stolen with the till, around £100 of damage was also caused to the business as a result of the break-in.
Anyone with information about this burglary, or who may have seen anything suspicious on Dawley High Street on Saturday night or early on Sunday morning, is asked to call police in Telford on 0300 333 3000.
