Police appeal after door smashed at Shrewsbury station
British Transport Police (BTP) is appealing for information after a glass door was smashed at Shrewsbury railway station.

Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they believe may have key information which could assist their investigation.
Investigating officer PC Kirk Smith said: “At around 11.15pm on Saturday, 10 March, a man got off a train at Shrewsbury that had come from Birmingham, via Telford and Wellington.
“He made his way through the station with a group of males, heading towards the front of the station.
“As he was walking through the booking hall there was a wet floor sign situated near the exit doors. The man kicked the sign towards the glass panel on the door, smashing it.
“He then left the station and made his way into town.
“This was a mindless and irresponsible act of criminal damage which not only caused significant damage to the door, but could have caused injury to others.”
After viewing CCTV footage, officers have identified a man they would like to trace in connection with the incident.
PC Smith added: “We have circulated the image to local police forces and rail staff in an attempt to obtain a name for this individual but have had no success so far.
“I would now urge any witnesses or anyone who recognises this man to contact BTP, as I believe he will be able to help us with our enquiries.”
