Charity shop to open in memory of Much Wenlock man
A charity shop will open in Much Wenlock later this month in memory of a well-known local man.

Graham Goodman was a farmer at Easthope and also a member of the Patton Sporting Shoot, working tirelessly to raise money for many local charities, but he sadly died of cancer early last year.
A charity shop is being held for two weeks in his memory, to raise money for the Severn Hospice at Shrewsbury where he was treated.
Shop owner and close friend Doug Lewis said: “Graham was a very caring and tender man, well respected by everyone he met and he carried out fundraising for every possible cause whenever he could.
“The shop has just been fully refurbished and will be opening as a florist next month, but in the meantime Graham’s widow Judith together with my wife Julie have gathered family and friends together to donate clothes, scarves and handbags, all of which will be offered for sale in the shop.”
Julie Lewis added: “I am a self-confessed ‘shopaholic’ as are many of my friends, so we thought it would be a great idea to clear out the wardrobes of unwanted items, many of which haven’t even been worn, and at the same time raise valuable funds for the Severn Hospice who treated Graham so well in his final weeks.
“The shop will be manned by myself, Judith and our friends, and will be open at 5 High Street, in Much Wenlock, between 9.30am and 4pm for two weeks from Monday 16th April.”
