Police arrest 'on the run' Shrewsbury man
Police have arrested a Shrewsbury man who has been on the run after breaching the conditions of his prison licence.

Richard John Davies, aged 38, was recalled to prison for breaking the terms of his licence following his release on October 7 last year.
Davies, nicknamed Wacky, was jailed for two years at Shrewsbury Crown Court on October 28, 2010 after pleading guilty to possessing heroin, a Class A controlled drug, with intent too supply. He also admitted a charge of supplying heroin. Both offences were committed in Shrewsbury.
Police last month issued his photograph and appealed for information concerning his whereabouts.
Detective Chief Inspector Alan Edwards, head of Shropshire CID, said today: "Officers in north Shropshire ran an operation on Friday which resulted in Davies being arrested at an address in Castle Court, Whitchurch.
"He has been returned to prison and I'd like to thank everyone who came forward with information in response to the police appeal."
Davies' prison licence was revoked by the Ministry of Justice under the Criminal Justice Act.
