Vandals carry out paint attack on cars in Shrewsbury
Police today appealed for information to help trace vandals who spray painted at least four vehicles parked in the Meole Brace area of Shrewsbury.
Cars in Wilton Green, Ryton Close and Maesbrook Road were targeted overnight on Wednesday.
Red and blue paint was sprayed on the bodywork and windscreens causing hundreds of pounds damage.
It follows a similar incident last month when several vehicles in the Meole area were sprayed with yellow paint.
A police spokesperson said: "The two incidents may well be linked and we are treating them as criminal damage.
"As part of our investigations, we are appealing for any information which might help us identify the offenders.
"Shrewsbury police station can be contacted in strict confidence by phoning 101 and information can also be given to the anonymous Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111, for which a reward may be paid."
