Man wanted over alleged sexual assault in Telford featured on Crimewatch
A televised nationwide appeal for information about a man wanted in connection with a rape in Telford resulted in a number of calls, police said today.

Police in Telford appealed for information concerning the whereabouts of Rasol Zana Mohammed on last night's BBC Crimewatch programme.
Officers want to speak to Mohammed, who also goes by the names of Hazem Samen Abdullah and Daman Ibrahimi, about an alleged serious sexual assault, which took place in Telford back in December in 2003.
The 28 year-old was questioned in connection with the incident back in December 2003. He was given bail but failed to return to the police station on his bail date. He has been wanted ever since.
He has links to the Wolverhampton, Kent and Yorkshire areas, so it is possible he could be living in any of these areas.
Following last night's programme, a total of nine calls were received from members of the public.
Detective Constable Karen Pankhurst, the investigating officer, said: "There was a promising response to last night's appeal. We received nine calls in total with significant information, which is being followed up.
"I would encourage anyone else with information in relation to Mohammed's whereabouts to come forward. If you have seen him in recent weeks, or know where he is, then please call CID at Telford on 0300 333 3000. Information can also be given anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111."
