Search continues for missing Shrewsbury man Derek Ward
Police today renewed their appeal for information about a missing Shrewsbury man as concern mounted over his welfare.

Mr Derek Ward, aged 61, from Kingston Drive, was last seen at around 8.30pm on Tuesday when he left home for a walk.
He headed towards London Road on his usual evening walking route but failed to return home.
His family and the police have become increasingly concerned for his safety and have appealed for any information which might help trace him.
Officers are continuing the search and have carried out extensive enquiries. They have searched a wide area near his home, including the grounds of Shrewsbury Cricket Club, Shrewsbury College of Arts and Technology, the surrounds of Mere Pool and along the River Severn in the Emstrey area.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said today: "There have been no positive developments concerning Mr Ward's whereabouts.
"Both his family and the police are anxious to establish he is safe and we are appealing to anyone who thinks they might have seen him, to contact Shrewsbury police station on the 101 non-emergency number as a matter of urgency."
Mr Ward does not drive and did not take a mobile phone. He had a small amount of money and is also thought to have taken his bus pass. "It's possible he got on a bus on Tuesday night and again, we urge passengers to contact us if they possibly saw him."
Mr Ward is white, 6ft tall, clean shaven, of medium build with greying hair at the sides and thinning on top. He was wearing a light grey baseball cap, brown coat, dark blue trousers and black shoes.
