Shrewsbury swimmer Zoe Cooper makes it through to Britain’s Got Talent final with Aquabatique
A swimmer from Shropshire has made it through to the final of Britain’s Got Talent as one quarter of synchronised swimming act Aquabatique.

Zoe Cooper from Shrewsbury impressed judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alisha Dixon with the team’s British and Olympic theme on Saturday. Last night during the semi-finals they performed a James Bond themed routine, set to a 007 music medley.
After their performance, Simon said with a big smile on his face: “I am actually building one of these tanks in my homes, so you can come and live in my aquarium if you want?”
Alesha said: “I think you’re incredible – you look amazing and you’re so relevant with Olympics coming up. Inspirational.”
The girls, Zoe, 28, Emily Kuhl, 22, Beth Smith, 22, and 23-year-old Jazmine Stansbury perform their routine in a large glass tank outside with the judges watching on the screens inside the studio.
If the team wins the talent contest they will perform in front of the Queen at the Royal Variety Performance and win £500,000.
