A body was today recovered from the River Severn in Shrewsbury after being spotted by a member of the public.
Crews from Shropshire Fire and Rescue service assisted the police with a water rescue of the body, which was discovered in the river near Telford Way bridge.
The body was discovered by a member of the public at around 2.40pm this afternoon.
