Man threatened with knife during attempted robbery
A 22-year-old man was attacked and threatened with a knife during an attempted robbery in a Shrewsbury street.

The incident happened near the church at the junction of Mount Pleasant Road and Ellesmere Road at around 5pm on Sunday.
The man was walking alone when confronted by three men wearing hooded tops, baseball caps and balaclavas who tried to take his mobile phone. He was threatened with a Stanley-type knife and after a struggle the assailants ran off towards Ellesmere Road.
The victim suffered minor cuts and scratches to his face but did not require hospital treatment.
Police Constable Darren Holmes, the investigating officer, has appealed for witnesses. "This is quite a busy residential area and there would have been quite a few people in the area at that time on Sunday.
"The three offenders would have been quite conspicuous by their clothing and demeanour and might have been seen running from the scene.
"I would urge anyone who witnessed any part of this incident, or who spotted the three men, to contact Shrewsbury police station on the 101 non emergency number."
