A resident heard noise and confronted the two suspects but they made off along Pooler Close.

A total of 25 metres of fencing was damaged, totalling to around £5,000 damage.

Police are investigating the matter and are eager to hear from anyone who saw the suspects around the time the incident took place.

A Telford Police spokeswoman said: "Police were only made aware of the incident the following day, so we would like to hear from anyone who has any information in relation to the matter.

"If you live in the area and were woken by or saw the suspects then please come forward and speak to us.

"We have good descriptions of the suspects, so if you know who they are then please pick up the phone."

Both suspects are described as white and aged in their early twenties. One is described as medium to athletic build, 5ft 8ins to 5ft 10ins tall with light brown short cropped hair. He was wearing a peach coloured T-shirt with a grey motif on the front. The other suspect is described as being of skinny build with hair that is described as being bleached on the top.
