Telford school rated outstanding by Ofsted inspectors
St Peters CE Primary School in Bratton is celebrating after receiving top marks from Ofsted inspectors - who praised the school for its “delightful learning ethos” and the “outstanding personal development of pupils.”

The report recognised St Peters as outstanding – the highest grade it can award - with unprecedented grades in every area inspected.
Head Teacher Rod Dean said, “We are delighted that Ofsted has once again recognised our school as outstanding overall, and outstanding in every category inspected.
“This is cause for celebration by the whole school community and reward for an extremely dedicated and talented team of staff and governors.”
Chair of Governors, Martin Picken said, “This school continues to be a special place where the whole school community – parents, all staff, governors and especially our children – are valued and encouraged to learn. I am pleased this Ofsted report reflects this and has shown how the school has built on its past strengths.”
Councillor Paul Watling, Telford & Wrekin Council’s cabinet member for children, young people and families said: “ St Peters has shown remarkably high standards over a sustained period, reflected in this and previous outstanding inspection reports. Congratulations should go to all connected with the school for their dedication and commitment.”
The school was inspected on May 15-16 and has 419 pupils.
