Man dies as car leaves M54 carriageway

The vehicle the man was driving left the carriageway between junctions 3 and 2 of the motorway shortly before 7.45pm and collided with a hedge.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “A single occupant was found in the vehicle. Unfortunately it quickly became apparent that nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed deceased at the scene.”
