Scouts box trailer stolen during burglary near Shifnal
A box trailer belonging to Shifnal Scouts was among a large haul of property stolen during a raid on a farm building last week.
The distinctive twin axle trailer, which was empty and being kept in storage, was hitched up to the thieves' vehicle and towed away.
They broke into the farm building workshop at Redhill Farm, near Shifnal over night on May 31/June 1.
Other items stolen included a blue Yamaha quad bike, a compressor, welder and numerous power tools.
Police Constable Sean Kinson, the investigating officer, appealed for information about the offenders and also the whereabouts of the scouts box trailer and other property.
He said the thieves drove across fields in a 4x4 type vehicle to reach the workshop, made a forced entry and then drove off with the trailer hitched up, to reach the A5.
