Burglars damage and ransack home in Whittington
Burglars who broke into a home at Whittington, near Oswestry last week caused extensive damage before stealing computer equipment.

The house in Birchwood Drive was broken into between 9.30pm last Thursday and 10am the following morning while the occupant was away overnight.
Police Constable Lisa Bullock, the investigating officer, said the offenders forced their way in by smashing a door, carrying out an untidy search of all the rooms.
"There was a tin of white paint in the dining room which has been emptied onto several pieces of furniture. Bleach and toilet cleaner were also poured over furniture and carpets throughout the house," said PC Bullock.
She appealed for information to help the investigation. "Contact Oswestry police station on 101 if you saw anything suspicious in the area on the night or if you think you know who is responsible."
Stolen from the premises were a Wii and games, an Xbox 360 with games and an Acer Aspire laptop.
Information can also be given to the anonymous Crimestoppers charity by calling 0800 555 111.
