Police link blue car to burglaries in north Shropshire and Telford
Police are linking three high-value burglaries in north Shropshire and Telford after a "smart" blue car was spotted at each location.

They believe the car, possibly an Audi RS4, was used as a getaway vehicle and could provide a breakthrough in helping trace the offenders.
An appeal has been issued for sightings, especially in the Wem, Shawbury and Leegomery areas where the burglaries took place last Thursday afternoon.
Police Constable Rob Buxton, one of the investigating officers, said: "We urge people to contact the burglary unit at Shrewsbury police station by calling 101 if they have any information which might help the investigation.
"The blue car is a common link with all three burglaries. It was described as a ‘smart blue saloon' so was quite distinctive. The three burglaries took place in quick succession during daylight hours last Thursday afternoon, between 2pm and 6pm."
In the first incident, jewellery worth around £7,000 was stolen from a home in the Rue Wood area of Wem when a door was forced between 2pm and 4.30pm. The premises were ransacked and four rings, a string of pearls and a bracelet of three colours of gold stolen.
The rings were particularly valuable - a platinum ring with two diamonds side by side with a splay of fine diamonds at the side; a second platinum ring with two diamonds either side of an emerald; a 24-carat white gold ring with two diamonds either side of a yellow diamond; and a white gold ring with a sapphire and small diamonds.
At around 5pm, the burglars approached a home in another rural location at Shawbury. Again, they gained entry through forcing a door but were disturbed by the occupant, fleeing with about £80.
Police believe the same people were responsible for a burglary at Leegomery between 5.30pm and 6pm where a £70,000 Aston Martin and jewellery were taken.
The Aston Martin was abandoned at Hortonwood Industrial Estate about 20 minutes later with a blue car seen speeding away.
PC Buxton added: "If anyone has information about the offenders or the wherebouts of the stolen property, or if they spotted anything suspicious at these locations last Thursday afternoon, do get in touch."
Information can also be given to the anonymous Crimestoppers independent charity by calling 0800 555 111 for which a reward may be paid.
