Shrewsbury road closes following burst water main

A Shrewsbury road is today closed to allow emergency repairs following a burst water main.

Shrewsbury road closes following burst water main

The water main burst this morning near the junction of Upper Road and Roman Road in Meole Brace.

Severn Trent Water is currently on site and repair work is expected to be complete on Sunday.

Whilst this repair work is being carried out Upper Road, between Hereford Road and Roman Road, will remain closed.
Severn Trent says customers in the area may experience a temporary loss of supply or low water pressure.
