Woman suffers burns in Shrewsbury house fire
A woman was taken to hospital last night after a fire at a home in Shrewsbury.

Emergency services were called to the home on Sundorne Road at about 8.10pm.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “On arrival, ambulance staff found a woman who had burns to both arms and suffering from smoke inhalation.
“They dressed her burns and gave her medicine and oxygen to assist with the breathing difficulties caused by the smoke.
“The 44 year old was then taken to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital by ambulance.”
Three appliances from Shropshire Fire and Rescue attended the fire using 2 hose reel jets and 2 covering jets to extinguish the blaze.
