Carer threatened with knife during attempted robbery in Leegomery
A carer was threatened with a knife by a man in a Telford street as he carried out his work duties at the weekend.

The male victim was due to visit an address in Chockleys Drive in Leegomery as part of his job when the incident happened at around 8.40pm on Saturday.
As the 19-year-old got something out of his vehicle, he was approached by an unknown man. The man told the victim to hand over his phone but when he told him no, the suspect produced a Stanley knife and threatened the teenager.
The victim pushed the suspect and he fell against a fence. Moments later he got up and walked off towards Leegate Avenue. Shaken and suffering minor cuts the victim got into his car and called police. No property was stolen.
A Telford Police spokeswoman said: "During the altercation the victim sustained a shallow cut to his arm. He also suffered a slight cut to his face.
"Fortunately he was able to push the suspect away and get into his car safely and call police.
"We want to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything in the area at the time, or from anyone who saw the suspect hanging around the area before the attempted robbery took place."
The offender is described as a white male, aged around 25 and of a very slim build. He was clean shaven at the time of the incident and had dark coloured hair. He was wearing a black coat with a hood up and black bottoms and white trainers. He spoke with a Telford accent."
Anyone with information should contact Telford Police on 101 or the anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555111.
