More than 10,000 Jessie J fans will be heading to Shrewsbury’s Quarry Park this evening to see the chart-topping singer and Voice UK judge.

Hailed as one of the British music industry’s rising stars, Jessie J will perform chart-topping hits including Price Tag, Do it Like a Dude, Who You Are and smash hit Domino.

Gates for the concert open at 5pm with support from 17-year-old A*M*E who is signed to Gary Barlow’s Future Records and Jay James Picton. Free Radio DJ’s will also be providing entertainment throughout the evening before Jessie J takes to the stage between 9pm and 10.15pm.

Those attending are being advised to wear waterproof clothing following an amber weather warning being issued by the Met Office for heavy rain throughout today. Around a month’s rain is expected to fall over the next two days.

11,000 fans are expected to pack the Quarry with people queing from this morning to get the best spot to see Jessie J.

Toilet Trouble

Jessie J will be hoping for no problems with the loos tonight after she locked herself in a toilet during Jay-Z and Kanye West's recent 'Watch The Throne' tour and had to rescued by their security.

The London singer got into the rather embarrassing situation when she went along with fellow The Voice judge Will.i.am to watch the pair at London's O2 arena when the incident occurred.

"I went with Will.i.am to the first 'Watch The Throne' show in London," Jessie told The Sun "I somehow managed to find myself walking onto the stage with them all - Will, Kanye, Jay-Z, Kim Kardashian."

She added: "I was like 'Wow, what a crew', then me and my friend got stuck in the toilet. We nipped in to do our make-up and my friend knew the door was broken but locked it anyway and said, 'Babe I think I've broken the door'.''

''They'd been on for one song, we could hear them and it got to about 15 minutes and Jay's security came in and they literally kicked down the whole door."

The signer and The Voice judge will be presented with a handmade Jessie J Toolkit, which has been made by award-winning Shrewsbury-based chocolatier Melanie Fallon. The toolkit will be delivered to Jessie J before taking the stage tonight in front of 11,000 fans.

The gourmet food maker was asked to make the toolkit by Free Radio, one of the event sponsors. Melanie Fallon said “I came up with a toolkit, so that she can fix anything that comes her way’ they’ll be nothing stopping her getting on stage tonight.
