Driver of car sought following Shrewsbury A5 crash
Police today appealed for the driver of a black car who failed to stop following a collision on a busy Shrewsbury dual carriageway to get in touch.

A silver Porsche Boxster was travelling eastbound in the outside lane of the A5 between Emstrey Island and Preston Island, towards the M54 and A49, at about 3.15pm yesterday.
Just before Preston Island, it is believed that a black car, possibly or similar to a Nissan Qashqai, pulled in front of the Porsche, causing the driver to take evasive action and lose control, colliding with the central reservation and coming to rest facing oncoming traffic.
Police were called and close the eastbound carriageway. The Porsche driver, who is in his 20s, suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
Police Constable Tom Symonds, who is investigating the circumstances of the crash, said the crash caused major congestion but fortunately nobody had been seriously hurt.
"There was no contact between the Porsche and the black car but the other driver is reported to have pulled out in front of the Porsche, causing its driver to brake sharply and lose control. The driver of the black car failed to stop at the scene," he said.
"I urge that other driver to contact police on 101 or 0300 333 3000 as a matter of urgency.
"I am also keen to hear from anybody who may have witnessed the crash or has any further details about the black car or its driver. The road was busy at the time as it was approaching rush hour.
"Police arranged for recovery of the Porsche but the crash caused major tailbacks along the A5 for an hour, as the road was blocked and had to be closed."
Officers closed the eastbound carriageway at Emstrey Island and diverted traffic via Atcham. The Highways Agency also attended due to debris on the road and damage to the central reservation.
