The Welsh Bridge in Shrewsbury is to close overnight from 7.30pm this evening as National Grid Gas complete the laying of a new gas main in the road.
Earlier this month the busy road closed for the weekend as three teams of engineers worked in a shift.
Following the closure this evening, engineers will work through the night with road expected to reopen to traffic by 6am tomorrow.
