Daniel Kawczynski Praises Shrewsbury Flower Show organisers

The Shrewsbury and Atcham MP has sent a letter to the Shropshire Horticultural Society to congratulate them on this year’s hugely successful Shrewsbury Flower Show.

In a personal letter to the Society, Shrewsbury and Atcham MP Daniel Kawczynski expressed his thanks to the organisers for their hard work and commitment in putting together yet another extravaganza which welcomed over 50,000 visitors from across the UK and beyond.

Daniel Kawczynski said: “Every year the Shrewsbury Flower Show exceeds our high expectations, and with this year seeing the 125th anniversary of its launch, the pressure on the organisers was even higher than usual.

“It takes an exceptional amount of work to bring together such a wonderful array of exhibitors, such magnificent displays, and such beautiful show gardens, and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the show this year.

“Year after year the Shropshire Horticultural Society allows us to showcase the beauty of our county town to visitors from across the UK, drive significant revenues for local businesses, as well as providing a fabulous family day out. On behalf of all of my constituents, and I am sure the wider community too, I would like to thank everyone involved in putting together such a wonderful show, and I am very much looking forward to next year’s event.”
