Californian King snake goes missing in Bridgnorth
Police are appealing for help after a non-poisonous pet snake was reported missing to police in Bridgnorth.

The 39-inch long Californian King snake disappeared from its owner's address in Tasley Close, Bridgnorth on Sunday.
Its disappearance was reported today in the hope someone in the area will spot the snake and contact the police.
Inspector Ed Hancox said: "The snake could still be in the owner's house. However, it has been missing for four days and may have escaped outside. It is unlikely to have travelled far we are urging people to keep a lookout."
He said it was not venomous and posed no real danger to the public, although it might give a slight bite if handled roughly.
"The best thing to do is ring the police on 101, or indeed, the RSPCA. Hopefully, it will be quickly traced and returned safely to its owner."
The snake is predominantly red and brown with white stripes around its body and with a white v-shape marking on its head.
Inspector Hancox said he had confirmed with the West Midlands Safari Park that the species was non-venomous. "They've confirmed it's not dangerous to humans and not big enough to constrict.
"It's likely to have found somewhere warm and comfortable to hole up in," he added.
