Telford Police appeal for information after unusual incident
Police in Telford are appealing for witnesses after an unusual criminal damage incident just over two weeks ago.
The incident occurred in Arleston on Wednesday 8 August at around 11.20pm.
A 21-year-old man was driving down Dawley Road in a Vauxhall Corsa when a silver car collided with his vehicle from behind.
The driver of the Corsa believed the silver vehicle had been following him for some time, so he drove off onto Kingsland, but the silver car followed and bumped into the Corsa three more times.
A police spokesman said:
"There appears little doubt that the silver car deliberately bumped into the Vauxhall Corsa on several occasions before making off.
"With that in mind, police are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed any of the collisions as they believe there were a number of witnesses around when the incidents occurred.
"Anyone with information about this incident, or who may know why the incident occurred, is asked to call police in Telford on 101 or 0300 333 3000, quoting incident number 265N 080812."
