Concern grows for a missing Telford man with head injury

The 48 year-old was last seen on Sunday 26 August at the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford, he had visited the Accident and Emergency department suffering with a head injury. However, before he was seen by a Doctor, Mr Willett left the hospital and has not been seen since.

Police are concerned for Mr Willett's welfare and are now appealing to anyone with information in relation to his whereabouts to contact them.

Detective Chief Inspector Jason Wells said: "Mr Willett was taken to the Princess Royal Hospital with a head injury on Sunday afternoon. However some time between 3.30pm and 3.45pm, he left the hospital before seeing a Doctor.

"Telford Police are concerned for his welfare especially due to the nature of the injury he sustained.

"He is believed to be homeless and up until the weekend it is believed he had been camping out in a tent near Dawley Pools.

"If you have any information at all in relation to Mr Willett's whereabouts then we would really like to hear from you."

Mr Willett is described as a white man, of slim build and greying hair with a moustache.

Anyone with information should contact Telford Police on 101.
